After 5 seconds, the pop-up will close however it will randomly show up again (hence the text) and it does that in an infinite loop until the computer gets rebooted. By looking into the file assembly you will see that the application has the text "Scanregw" as the product name which is an attempt to trick the user into thinking that the application is a Registry Scanner. Since the application is coded in Visual Basic 6 Korean the file "vb6ko.dll" must be installed on the user's computer or the application can not be executed, This application also has absolutely no scream or any other scary sound effects.

Once the 5 seconds elapse, the pop-up box disappears only to reappear randomly in an infinite loop, which continues until the computer is rebooted. Examination of the file assembly reveals that the application's product name is "Scanregw," which is an attempt to deceive users into believing that the application is a registry scanner. The coding language used to create Happy_Days_.exe is Visual Basic 6 Korean, which necessitates the installation of the "vb6ko.dll" file on the user's computer for successful execution. It is notable that Happy_Days_.exe does not contain any scream or other alarming sound effects.

Happy_Days_.exe is a Korean screamer application that gained notoriety in 2003. It is considered to be similar to the Win32/Flaghost malware, but its screamer image differs slightly from its predecessor.

When the application is executed, a black pop-up box appears randomly on the screen, displaying the screamer image alongside a blue-colored text that reads "^^ Happy days... please 5 seconds... to close." Once the 5 seconds elapse, the pop-up box disappears only to reappear randomly in an infinite loop, which continues until the computer is rebooted.
