The Melancholy of Hattoushin Mona (Japanese: 8頭身モナーの憂鬱, Hattōshin Monā no Yūutsu) is a Japanese screamer animation created by an unknown user sometime around 2000-2002.

The video starts off with Hattoushin Mona, a 2channel character, saying はあ・・・>>1さん・・・ ("*pant*... >>1-san..."). Then, >>1-san, another 2channel character, appears and Hattoushin says 八ア八ア ("*pant pant*"). When it zooms in and Hattoushin says 八ア八ア・・・、今日こそは・・・! ! (*pant pant* ... Today is the day...!!"), the sentence is interrupted by a zombie face with large eyes and crooked teeth accompanied by a high-pitched scream.
