Stare at the dot! is a video uploaded by psychologist Richard Wiseman for his Quirkology channel on YouTube.

The video shows an inverted effect of Richard Wiseman instructing the viewer to look at his nose, after which a blue dot appears on his nose. However, right after saying the line: "Don't worry, there will be no screams or scary sounds," the video switches back to a grayscale effect. the original version of the video is around 1 minute long and does not contain a screamer.

The screamer version was titled "stare at the dot on his nose", and uploaded on March 2, 2018, by Jacob laggard, with a picture of Thomas' O face (actually a screencap of Thomas' shocked face from the Thomas and Friends episode "Thomas Goes Fishing".) on his nose. However, after 30 seconds, a picture of a dog then appears, along with a loud scream, followed by special effects.
