shafou.com is a screamer website. When the webpage is opened, a close-up picture of Regan MacNeil from the movie The Exorcist appears with a loud scream. A few seconds later, the webpage reloads and the screamer is looped. When the screamer image is clicked, a script will automatically try to share the website on the user's Facebook account. However, if the user is not logged in to an account, a Facebook login page will appear instead. The website contains Base64 obfuscated code, which makes it hard to actually guess it's a screamer.

shafou.com is a screamer website.

History

According to Scam Adviser, the domain shafou.com was registered on November 5th, 2009. A snapshot from March 28th, 2010 can be found here[1], when the website was at its original state.

In June of 2010, the entire content of the website was replaced with the screamer. There was also a link at the bottom of the page that directed to another website, shafou.net, which was a blog that showed multiple pictures of a girl with Chinese text. A snapshot from February 10th, 2016 can be found here[2]. Now, this link simply redirects to Shafou.com.

There is also a snapshot of Shafou.com from May 22th, 2011, which can be found here[3]. It only contains colored Chinese text and links, which appear to lead to porn websites.
