The main menu displays a game title and a play button. Clicking the button starts the main gameplay in which the player moves a blue dot using their cursor to navigate the maze without touching between them. Unlike other maze games, some of the gameplay in some of the levels are completely different, such as a sword spinning around in Level 7, and a rainbow bar moving vertically at the end.
Upon accessing the main menu, players are presented with a game title and a play button. The objective of the game is to guide a blue dot through a maze using their cursor without touching the walls. The game features various levels, some of which have different gameplay mechanics than the [[The Maze|standard maze]]. For example, Level 7 has a sword spinning around and Level 9 has a rainbow bar that moves vertically.  
 
There is a possibility that the player will be surprised with a screamer after completing one of the levels. The screamers consist of the zombie, the woman with a part of her face torn off, the red man's face in darkness, and the photoshopped hand with a screaming mouth, all returning from [[Maze Game 4]], along with the Tarzan yell from [[Scary Tic-Tac-Toe]]. Once the player reaches the end of the final level, they are taken to a white screen which the player stays on until they close the game.


The game includes several [[jump scares]] that may startle the player upon completion of certain levels. These screamers include a zombie, a woman with a torn face, a red man's face in darkness, and a photoshopped hand with a screaming mouth, all of which reappear from [[Maze Game 4]]. Once the player successfully completes the final level, they are taken to a white screen, which they must manually exit in order to leave the game.
