Line 1: Line 1:
''Persistence of Vision Test'' is a flash [[screamer]] game. The viewer is prompted via audio instructions to stare into a small black dot within a white background. During this time, phrases such as "Continue concentrating on the dot" appear. Two black lines appear above and below the dot, respectively, and the viewer is instructed to concentrate on these as well. However within 30 seconds a picture of a human skull pops up and covers the dot with a loud scream.

When you see it.

When you see it, or mind games, are a common type of screamer. The concept is pretty similar to What's Wrong; these have as a goal to make the viewer look closely at a picture that seems normal at a first glance, by claiming that upon looking closer you will find something scary or disturbing. However, on some occasions, when the viewer concentrates on the picture, a scary image will pop up. These screamers usually take on the form of animated GIFs that pretend to be still images.
