Monsters Inc Subliminal Message is a YouTube screamer video. The original video's upload date prior to its deletion is unknown (possibly around the 2000s or early 2010s), but its reupload date was on March 26, 2021 by a YouTuber called Derrek Oldham. The video was created using Windows Movie Maker.
The video opens with a blue card with white text reading, "What is this green dude staring at?". Then it cuts to a promotional image of Monsters, Inc. character Mike Wazowski staring wide-eyed and slack-jawed. When the video returns to the blue screen, three question marks appear ("???"), followed by four question marks ("????"). After that, text appears, reading, "well he is looking at this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!".
Then the video cuts to a slideshow of the following four horrifying images: a zombie, Regan MacNeil from The Exorcist, Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and another image of Regan MacNeil, all while audio of a kid's loud screaming is played on loop. After the slideshow, text is shown once more: "Hahahahahaha thats my scream" (suggesting the original uploader made the scream himself) and "oh yeah i almost forgot", followed by the same images of Mike Wazowski and the zombie as the loud screaming returns.
