"I've been doing house music for the last 8-9 years. I moved into the break house around 1995 and love mixing the two. I'm from Dallas, Texas, and I used to play at S.O.A. club and many parties.
Jeremy Winterrowd's quote as a DJ.[1]

Jeremy R. Winterrowd (born February 25, 1976) is an American software programmer, game designer, electronics inventor, music producer, DJ, photographer, video editor, paranormal investigator, and world traveler. He gained popularity in the screamer community for his well-known games and videos, becoming a household name among fans.

Background

Winterrowd was born in Dallas, Texas to Debby Winterrowd and Bobby Winterrowd. He grew up with his brother, Joey Winterrowd, and his cousin, Bonnie Meeder. His education is unknown, although he attended the University of Texas at Arlington, as per his LinkedIn profile.

Winterrowd pursued a career as a Windows Server Administrator from 2001 to August 2003 before transitioning to become a software consultant in September 2003. He later became a web developer and founded Winterrowd Solutions in 2003, which published online games via social and privately owned websites using Adobe Suite Software.[3][4] In 2000, Winterrowd started his career as a DJ on the internet, launching his website at djjeremy.net, where he produced 17 songs until 2010.[5][6][7] He then founded Winterrowd Solutions in 2001, which initially hosted his resume but later became known for hosting his popular game during The Maze trend. He later removed his personal blog in 2010 and only hosted his screamer creations. Winterrowd also founded Bloggits in 2006 as the counterpart to his original website. The website was discontinued, and he held a Winterrowd Prank Contest in 2006, where contestants had to record someone's reactions to a prank and upload them to the website.[8] The website grew in popularity, despite being controversial for its scary games and videos. It can be considered the father of all screamers and was announced as such in April 2007. Winterrowd posted two screamers on his channel, Loading Page and Safari.[9] He currently resides in San Francisco, California, where he works as a DJ.
