Bunbunmaru News Network is a bait and switch YouTube channel created on June 18, 2021 that is similar to 2022 Tunes. It would host a video that would look normal at first, but would then cut to gore or pornographic content. The channel is still up to this day, even though the videos are still months old. The creator might be of Latvian origin.
Characteristics
Creator of this channel is most likely a fan of Touhou Project series. The name of the channel is a reference to in-game newspapers Bunbunmaru Newspaper. The channel's icon is a zoomed in face of Touhou character Koishi Komeji from fanmade series ''Koishi Komeiji's Heart-Throbbing Adventure''. One of the videos, titled ''animé meme'' features the Touhou character Rumia from a fanmade Touhou animation YOU DIED【Touhou MMD】 made by a Youtube channel LVがたりない.

- the tv show: A clip from SpongeBob SquarePants from the episode ‘Your Shoe's Untied’ where SpongeBob is watching an anime girl in a sandwich with text saying "NOOOOO I DON’T WANNA BE A SANDWICH" but would then cut to a video of McChicken. Gary would then come in and SpongeBob would change the channel to the sports channel like in the original episode.
- Pearl fish's gross hiding spot | BBC: A video of a pearl fish hiding in a sea cucumber, but the video would suddenly cut to Snake Ass.
- Ducktales molester PSA: A video of Fatal Farm’s Ducktales spoof, but the video would suddenly enhance and the lyrics would become more racist and offensive.
- Tourist TROLLED in Mexico 🤣🤣🤣 2023: A video of El Patron but with a few edits. This video has been removed from the channel for violating YouTube’s terms of service, leading to the channel's first strike.
- wtf gumball banana watchin?: A clip from the Cartoon Network show, The Amazing World of Gumball where Banana Joe is on his computer, and Gumball walks in on him. On his computer is a compilation of shock images and videos such as a woman defaecating and then shoving a dildo in her rectum, another scat video, a corpse of some kind of animal that has ‘FUCK N****RS’ in red at the top, multiple Nazi swastikas and etc.
