Throughout the video, before the [[screamer]] segment appears, the song is edited to have an extremely low volume to trick the user by cranking the video to full volume. Barney Special! is a screamer video uploaded to YouTube by a user named hotogainc (under his hotdogainors alias) on April 28, 2007.
The video starts with clips of Barney & Friends from the '90s of Barney with the song Hit 'Em Up by the late 2Pac playing in the background to make it look like Barney is rapping, only to get interrupted by a photo of Barney's face along an extremely loud scream. Throughout the video, before the screamer segment appears, the song is edited to have an extremely low volume to trick the user by cranking the video to full volume. The video was taken from another video without a screamer, and low volume called Barney & Friends Hit Em Up!. An alternative version of the screamer replaces the picture of Barney's face with a negative image of a man with his mouth wide open and his eyes edited out of his eye sockets.
