Agor.io was a screamer webpage intended to scare people who mistyped the domain Agar.io, which is a popular online game. The site was decommissioned in 2015.

When the site opened, an image of Jeff The Killer appeared which quickly exchanged between negative and normal colors at a ratio that could cause seizures along with a loud, almost metallic sound, the same .swf animation from Anne.jpg. A text on the page said "L3mm1ng Braz1I App3r Yazir Alyx WanR00t H0rs3 D0nny". When the user tried to close the page, a window appeared with the text "U SCARED BRO LOL" forcing the user to close the browser completely (although some browsers would not close, forcing them to kill the process with Task Manager or Ctrl+Alt+Delete/Del).

The creator of the website was found to be Preston Kellenberger, living in Sardinia, Ohio.[1][2]

Reception

There were multiple social media posts about the site, the majority of them coming from Reddit. Many of the posts are simply to warn people about the screamer, but this one,[3] in particular, was supposedly written by a parent whose 9-year-old son had an epileptic seizure when trying to play Agar.io because they misspelled it as Agor.io.

The mother states she is talking to a lawyer and is attempting to track down and prosecute the creator of the Agor.io website.
