'''1 Lunatic 1 Ice Pick''' is a [[Shock site|shock video]] first uploaded to an unknown site sometime in 2012. It received massive popularity and media coverage after being uploaded to [[BestGore|BestGore.com]] the same year. The video was later removed from the site, however. It was shot in May 2012 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada by [[Luka Magnotta]], a 30-year-old Canadian male.

The video shows [[wikipedia:Murder of Jun Lin|Jun Lin]], who was a Chinese international student from Wuhan who had met Magnotta on Craigslist for a one-night stand,<ref><nowiki>https://heavy.com/entertainment/2019/12/lin-jun-luka-magnotta-death/</nowiki></ref><ref><nowiki>https://nationalpost.com/news/canada/luka-rocco-magnotta-1-lunatic-1-ice-pick-jun-lin</nowiki></ref> tied to a bed frame before he is repeatedly stabbed by Magnotta with an ice pick and a kitchen knife. His body is then dismembered, followed by acts of necrophilia. Magnotta uses a knife and fork to cut off some of Lin's flesh and gets his dog to chew on the corpse.

During the video, the 1987 New Order song ''[https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x13etih True Faith]'' plays in the background, and a poster for the 1942 romantic drama film ''[[wikipedia:Casablanca (film)|Casablanca]]'' is visible on the wall.

==Magnotta's Arrest==
Luka Magnotta was arrested on June 4, 2012, at an internet cafe in Berlin, Germany and charged on December 23, 2014, with one count of first-degree murder.<ref><nowiki>https://www.standard.co.uk/news/world/cat-killer-luka-magnotta-now-canada-prison-a4317886.html#:~:text=Eventually%2C%20Luka%20was%20apprehended%20by,in%20an%20air%20force%20jet</nowiki>.</ref> Canadian authorities obtained a "more extensive" version of the video and said that cannibalism may have been performed. Lin's torso was found in a suitcase outside the apartment where he was murdered.

Magnotta had also mailed parts of Lin's body to the Parliament of Canada, as well as the headquarters of the Liberal and Conservative parties of Canada, and some nearby elementary schools.<ref>Gill, Robin.
