On January 25, 2008, YouTube user Persephone Rose uploaded a video titled "3 Orangutans 1 Blender REACTION VIDEO!!", mostly likely as a joke to lampoon shock site reaction videos. In the video, he "reacts" to a video his supposed friend Eli sent him. The description of the video describes 3 Orangutans 1 Blender as "way worse than 2 Girls 1 Cup and [[BME Pain Olympics]]!". A few months later on March 8 2008, Rose's YouTube friend Damonico uploaded a video titled 3Orangutans1Blender, which is similar in content to Persephone Rose's video.
